Our 11th Post and Go design, Bailiwick Seashore, celebrates the remarkable wildlife and unique treasures found along our shores, with six stamp designs beautifully illustrated by Guernsey-based artist, Chris Griffiths.
With its stunning coastline, the Bailiwick of Guernsey is a treasure trove for those fascinated by marine life. The intertidal zones, where the land meets the sea, are particularly rich in biodiversity; sand-dwelling creatures and unique treasures found along the shores of the Bailiwick create a vibrant ecosystem.
The stamps depict the vibrant colours and intricate details of the seashore's hidden gems, bringing to life the rich biodiversity that thrives where land meets sea.
Formed in the crevices of rocky shores, rock pools are tiny ecosystems brimming with life. They are home to a diverse array of species, each uniquely adapted to the fluctuating conditions of their environment.
