Guernsey Post’s Endangered Species miniature sheet series shone a spotlight on vulnerable species facing the threat of extinction. These beautifully illustrated stamps raise awareness of the challenges these animals encounter due to human activity, climate change, and shifts in predator-prey dynamics. 

One of the leading causes of endangerment or extinction is the destruction or pollution of natural habitats. Other contributing factors include:
Overhunting and exploitation
Intentional extermination
Introduction of invasive species that compete with native wildlife for resources
