For immediate release: 13 December 2011
Guernsey Post is delighted to announce that it has a limited number of Formula 1 First Day Covers available in time for Christmas, which have been signed individually by British Formula 1 World Champions, Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton, who are currently racing for the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team.
Dawn Gallienne, head of philatelic at Guernsey Post said: - "I am delighted that we have been able to offer these unique First Day Covers, as our stamps for the Formula 1 issue are already proving to be popular.
"We only have a very small number of signed Covers available - some have been signed by Lewis and some signed by Jenson - and we are limiting sales to one Cover signed by each driver, per customer."
The signed First Day Covers, which make an ideal Christmas gift, are priced at £50 each and are available to purchase online at www.guernseystamps.com or by calling Philatelic Customer Services on +44 (0) 1481 716486.

Note to editors:
Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button celebrated World Championship success in 2008 and 2009 respectively; and images from Grands Prix during the current 2011 season provide the focus for the four stamps which appear on the First Day Cover Formula 1 issue.
The stamps and folder follow an earlier issue released by Guernsey Stamps in 2007, which included eight individual stamps commemorating British Formula 1 World Champions.
