Guernsey celebrates The Queen's 90th Birthday with stamps
Post is delighted to announce that it will release a set of six stamps to
celebrate the occasion of Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th Birthday.
The Queen celebrates two birthdays each year. Her actual birthday falls today, on 21 April, and her official birthday, on a Saturday in June, which is celebrated by an occasion known as Trooping the Colour, a spectacular birthday parade, which is depicted on five of the stamps.

56p – Her Majesty joins other members of the Royal family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace after Trooping the Colour on 16 June 2012.
57p – Her Majesty watches the Guards march past outside Buckingham Palace after Trooping of the Colour on 15 June 2013. The ceremony is carried out by fully trained and operational troops from the Household Division (Foot Guards and Household Cavalry) on Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall.

Completing the set is a stamp, which shows Her Majesty smiling upon her arrival at Tweedbank station in Scotland on 9 September, 2015, the date she became Britain’s longest-serving monarch (77p).
