National Trust of Guernsey
The National Trust of Guernsey was established on the 7 December 1960, following more than a year of discussions, informal meetings and the drafting and approval of its constitution.
The aim of the Trust today remains as it was set out at the original meetings; ‘to preserve and enhance the Islands natural beauty, its historic building and its heritage’.
2010 marks the 50th anniversary of the Trust and as such they will be celebrating in style with a jam packed schedule of fund raising activities.
